Our team developed a Web AR application based on WEB AR Streamer API from Sber Metaverse Tech for the SBER pavilion at the Russia exhibition and forum in VDNKh.
In the application, the user can go through a fascinating experience in augmented reality, learn the history of 100 hundred-ruble banknotes - from their appearance to the present day, as well as see the principle of operation of both old and new ATMs from the inside.
In this activity, we cover the origin and evolution of the hundred-ruble banknote. Each bill is accompanied by fascinating facts and interesting observations, such as an explanation of why money came to be called “babki”, as well as other curious aspects of its history.
The user can see an augmented reality animation of multiple bills flying out of an ATM and then view, rotate and listen to the story of each one individually right in their phone's screen.
Have you ever wondered what happens inside an ATM while it is operating?
As part of this activity, we covered this question and gave users the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basic working principles of two types of ATMs: the very first and the most modern one today.
The first ATM was designed in steampunk style, while the modern one was designed in cyberbank style. Visitors could trace the entire path of a banknote at the moment of replenishment or withdrawal right “inside” the ATMs.
The main advantage of Web AR applications is their simplicity and convenience. Users can easily interact with 3D objects without installing additional applications - just scan a marker and open a browser.
Creating a unique tag design allows you to keep the aesthetics of the project and link different virtual objects or animations in space to them, making the experience more interactive and engaging.
Our team designed original tags for all three project activities.
An important element is the creation of clear instructions for visitors.
We have designed wall information signs so that each user can quickly orient themselves and understand how to go through the entire AR experience.
